Level 9[]

Level 9 is a fast-paced level involving the skateboard. To complete the level, though there are many ways, it is best if the player stays crouches at the start of the level till after passing all the yellow ghosts, which will miss the player, and then jumps as early as after passing the third flight of stairs to avoid a slime vat. After the player goes through a long hallway, they should jump where the ceiling slants upwards and then slow the skate board by pressing the left arrow key which will help them judge better when to jump, which should be slightly at the end of the platforms to avoid the slime vats. When the player lands on the platform with two yellow ghosts, it is advisable to crouch to miss the first, jump to miss the second, and then jump again to vault over a slime vat.

After some distance forward, the player will encounter a sharp drop in the floor with the next platform's drop the player should jump to go on an upper platform to avoid two yellow ghosts. After more distance is passed, near where there is a sharp rise in the floor and two yellow ghosts, the player should slow down the skate board near the platform's end, jump onto the platform in the midst of a slime vat, and jump again to the the next platform. A fork in the road comes up shortly with the player having to take the upper route, as the lower route will kill them, and a certain time after, the player will be presented with the obstacle of several long platform in a slime vat. After these obstacles are avoided, the player will jump of the skate board where the floor rises and the exit can be found right ahead.

Level 10[]

Level 10 is the first of two levels, the other being level 13, to have an alternate exit. The alternate exit is seen near the start of the level behind a locked door that needs a golden key to be unlocked. This key is found in a seemingly unreachable area of the floor located after the player has dismounted two elevators and taken the upper path. This key can be accessed by going to the platform above it via the nearby elevator, hopping on top of a desk and then a bookshelf located near the end of the platform, passing through the fake wall at the left side, keeping right while falling down the hidden shaft, and, once the player lands on the hidden platform, moving across it to get the key.

To complete the level normally the player should follow the path and take both elevators, take the upper path encountered (as the lower path is locked), proceed forward while either avoiding or defeating the ghosts encountered, and mounting the elevator to gain access to the upper platform. After moving to the end of the upper platform, and defeating or avoiding the slime ghosts there, the player should jump from the desk to the bookshelf to obtain the key, either go backtrack or jump upwards through the fake part of the wall, take the lower path, and open the door. The player should then follow the path, take the moving platforms across the slime vat, either avoid or destroy the ghosts encountered while proceeding forward, and take the elevator to the upper level. The player then simply needs to take a moving platform across a slime vat, climb a short flight of stairs, jump to reach the platform across, and proceed forward into the exit.

Level 11[]

Level 11 contains the second boss of Ghosts Stole My Puppy: the giant slime. The giant slime attacks the player by splashing slime from the vat it resides in, signs of this appearing when it jumps upwards, and sending out three slime ghosts. To defeat the giant slime, the player has vacuum it while it is in its slime vat which will result in the boss changing colours, indicating it is losing health. After the boss is defeated, the level will be complete.

Level 12[]

Level 12 introduces teleporting ghosts, hard floor, moving blocks, and turning boards as well as presents a different scenario of a more dilapidated haunted house than the first scenario from earlier levels. To complete the level the player should proceed forward, vacuum or avoid any ghosts encountered, take the stairs downward, jump through the false wall at the end of the room, and obtain a brown key found in the hidden room. The player should then take the stairs upward, proceed forward, jump over the turning boards, unlock the door, and board the elevator upward located at the end of the room. The player should then go right, avoid the moving blocks while proceeding forward, take the elevator downwards, obtain the light blue key at the back of the room, then go back and take the left route. The player should use the turning boards to cross over to the next platform, open the door, and walk into the exit.

Level 13[]

Level 13 is the last of fast-paced levels involving the skateboard and also has an alternate exit to bonus level 18. This alternate exit is found behind a locked door on a high platform accessed by jumping onto a turning board found near the middle of the level. The key to open the door is placed behind a fake wall that is only accessible after the first optional long stretch of turning boards.

To complete the level, it is best the player takes the upper hidden path found after the first instance they are given options of where to progress, jump when they reach the middle of turning boards, and near the end of platforms when they reach a section that is only hard floor between small sections of raised platforms. The first group of yellow ghosts can be easily evaded if the player jumps over the first one, then crouches upon landing to avoid the next two, and finally jumping near the third to evade it and the last yellow ghost. The yellow ghosts that are encountered shortly after a small set of stairs leading downwards can be easily avoided if the player jumps up near the moment that they reach the stairs. After a stretch containing two yellow ghosts moving up and down, the third turning board should be jumped of only when it tips downward.

Level 14[]

Level 15[]

Level 16[]

This level contains the last boss of the game, The baron. He attacks by throwing white spheres that will move across the floor and must be jumped over, or ones that must be crouched under, and ones that move up and down in a zig zag pattern. To defeat the baron suck up the blue orbs that are coming from around the shield that he is in. Once all those orbs have been sucked up the barons shield will be destroyed and he can now be vacuumed. He will try to ram into the player but this can be used against him as he comes closer and is easier to vacuum. Once the baron is in the vacuum the level will end and the ending can now be seen.

Level 17[]

Level 17 is a bonus level that the player is granted accesses to after they go through an alternative exit in level 10. The level contains several toy turtles on a toy island with the exit located at the back of the level.

Level 18[]

Level 18 is a bonus level accessed by going through a alternate exit in level 13. The level consists of a raised and lowered platform with a bookshelf in between, a few hamster toys scattered around the bookshelf, and the exit at the far back of the level.

  • Level 10 of Ghosts Stole My Puppy links to level 17. If the player goes through the alternate exit, and it is possible to complete skip fighting the second boss, the giant slime, because level 11 will not be unlocked since the exit in level 17 skips to level 12.
    • Likewise in level 13, which has the alternate exit to bonus level 18, completely skips level 14 and goes to level 15 if the player takes the alternate exit.
  • The game's plot and gameplay are inspired by Luigi's Mansion.[1]
