Super Cat Tales: Magic Bridge! is a casual free-to-play mobile game that was launched on June 20, 2019 for Android and iOS devices. The game takes place inside the Big Oak from Super Cat Tales and features cats, enemies and other elements from both Super Cat Tales and Super Cat Tales 2.

Controls

• Tap left/right on the screen - Tilt the bridge in the respective direction.

Gameplay

In Magic Bridge!, players control the angular movement of a bridge that extends across the length of the oak tree and is constantly moving upward. The cat moves in whichever direction the bridge is pointing downward, with a steeper angle moving that cat at a faster speed. Players pass through checkered markers indicating "levels", with higher levels gradually increasing the speed at which the level scrolls at.

Multiple hazards and enemies are encountered in each of the levels and coming into contact with any causes a game over.

When the cat dies, players are given the opportunity to double the amount of coins they collected in that playthrough by watching a video advertisement. They also have the option to simply collect the coins without the ad, thus keeping their original amount.

After surpassing level 99, players will continue to endlessly climb the tower and not reach anymore levels.

Stun period

In the game's initial release, hitting a hazard or enemy would cause the cat to be stunned, sending them into a brief invincibility state indicated by the cat flashing. The cat would then stop flashing and have stars spinning above their head and in this state, the cat would be prone to dying from the next hazard or enemy they touch. Cats remained in this recovery state temporarily and when the stars disappeared from their head completely, they were no longer at risk from dying immediately.

This stun period was later removed in an update^{[citation needed]}, but the "Stun Recover" statistic still displays on the cat select screen.

Cats

Players can spend coins to unlock different cats on the menu screen. Each cat has a different set of statistics that affect their behaviour in a playthrough. These are shown by icons and certain value indicators. Each cat can have a minimum stat value of 1 and a maximum of 5.

• Horizontal Speed - This stat is indicated by two pink arrows and shows how quickly the cat can move horizontally.
• Vertical Speed - This stat is indicated by a single blue arrow pointing upwards. It affects the starting speed at which the game scrolls vertically.
• Stun Recover - This stat is indicated by a set of three yellow stars. The higher this value, the faster time it takes for the cat to recover from the stun period. An update to the gameplay causes this stat to no longer take effect, as a run ends as soon as the cat hits any hazard or enemy.^{[citation needed]}
